The British Team

Each year the BMFA sends both a senior and junior team to represent Great Britain at either the World or European Championship. Juniors must be under 18 on the 1st of January to qualify for the junior team of that year.

Qualifying for the team

During the 2010 flying season there will be three team qualification events for the team to represent Great Britain in the 2011 World Championships to be held in Serbia. The dates of the qualifiers are on the calendar page. The rules for the qualifiers can be found here.

The 2010 team

We will be sending both a junior and senior team to the 2010 World Championships in Serbia. For the 2010 World Championships the FAI have reinstated our full eight class championships and we will plan to send Competitors for 6 of the eight classes.

Details of the team will be confirmed here as soon as the BMFA council have approved the FAIR submission. This should take place by the middle of January.
